The gift to be simple,Little Jazz Mass,
Jazz Songs of Innocence and Requiem with Laurie Ashworth – Soprano, William Smith - Tenor, Howard Kane – Conductor
Robert Woods - Accompanist.
Begin the journey with a celebration of the music of Bob Chilcott. Return to his wonderfully vibrant setting of "A Little Jazz Mass" and give the ladies an opportunity to "get in the swing" with his "Jazz Songs of Innocence", brilliant settings of five of Blake's poems. Welcome back a great favourite of the choir, Laurie Ashworth, who not only sang in the premiere of Chilcott's requiem, but she has also recorded it.
