Spitting Feathers Beer Festival

We hold our beer festival every year on the 3rd Saturday in July and it's ace. We have a great venue and try hard to get the best bands and entertainers. We have over 30 selected beers and ciders (in cask and keg), served temperature controlled from hand pump by our fantastic volunteer staff.

All that beer needs soaking up! We hog roast 4 nice big pigs that have been raised on brewery grains here at the farm and serve them in bread rolls from Wallis the Bakers (a fantastic bakery and sandwich shop in Saltney - try them if you're passing). We also serve pulled pork baps, veggie burgers and the best beef burgers from Dave Joinson in Chester Market and his new shop in Boughton.

In previous years, our festival has raised money for Local and National causes and so far has donated over £25,000. The Hospice of the Good Shepherd, The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, Cancer Research UK and the RNLI are just some of the charities we've been happy to help.
