Summer science shows for all the family. Join our show to find out how particles behave inside solids, liquids and gases? What makes them different? This science show takes a closer look at materials and their properties. Exciting demonstrations with liquid nitrogen and solid carbon dioxide, give visitors the opportunity to watch materials change state right in front of their eyes!
Shows will run twice a day at 12 noon and again at 3pm. Tickets for the show cost £1.75 per person in addition to the normal admission charge and can be booked via the Catalyst website.
General admission costs £7.95 Adult, £5.95 Child or Concession, £21.95 Family of 4, £23.95 Family of 5 and children of 3 and under are free. Pay admission once and you will be issued with an annual pass to visit as many times as you like for the next 12 months!
General admission will give visitors access to the Ground Floor Interactive Gallery, Birth of an Industry Gallery on the first floor, access to the Baker Gallery and the Gossage Archive Room on the second floor and the Observatory on the fourth floor where visitors are invited to make use of the Panoramic Halton, interactive tablets to discover more about the rich heritage of the area that they can see from this stunning glass-walled gallery.
Also on offer is the Two Centuries of Stink exhibition all about smells, the cafe, shop under 5s PlayLab and the external playground.
