Join us in the meadow at the Whirligig for outdoor screenings of some of our favourite films. Bring a chair or picnic rug, grab a drink from the Horsebox Bar and watch a cinematic classic beneath the stars. All showings start at 8.30pm, please arrive from 8pm onwards.

The Shining (15) is a psychological horror based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. Jack Torrance, an aspiring writer takes an off-season caretaker job at the isolated Overlook Hotel in the hopes of finding time to develop his writing. His son Danny possesses 'the shining' a psychic ability to see into the hotel's troubled past. As the snow draws in, supernatural forces that inhabit the hotel begin influence Jack's behaviours in Kubrick's slow-burn cabin-fever film.
