We’re having a party, and the whole town’s invited!
To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, Macclesfield Town Council is holding a tea party in Market Place on Monday 8th May, 11am-3pm. There’ll be music, dancing plus free tea and cake for the first 600 visitors! Cake is being supplied by three of our amazing local bakers: Cakeface by James, Cherry Blossom Bakery and Dolly Daydreams Cakery, and we’ve lured Wild Tatama out of South Park to provide the teas and coffee’s.
Learn to swing dance with Swing North from 11am-1pm and put those moves into practice with live music from Treacle Market favourites Annie’s Saints and Sinners from mid-day.
There will, of course be face painting from the Face Painting Queen and Coronation crafts from ArtSpace.
And it is all FREE!
