Put on your wellies and jump into half-term fun at Lyme for all ages.Transport yourself to the past by taking on the roles of a housekeeper or hall boy to assist Mr. Truelove in the house. Or pack a mac and enjoy the outdoors in the play area and pick up a free nature spotting activity sheet for your family stroll. Extended across two weeks so whether you're from Stockport, Manchester, Trafford, Cheshire East or further afield there'll be something for you in the holidays.
Mr. Truelove's house trail
Mr. Truelove, the head butler, needs your help to look after Lyme's house. On this interactive family trail collect your pinny, mob cap or white gloves in the house for your little ones to become a house keeper or a hall boy at Lyme. From polishing to exploring the inner workings of the clocks learn all about how to care for this special place then and now.

Let loose: Toddler play
Join us in the chapel each Tuesday and Thursday in half term from 10am – 2pm for pre-school play, stories, and activities. Finish off with a buggy-friendly walk around the garden or a coffee in the Servant's hall café next door.
