This is a festival open to all creative arts; theatre, music, comedy, singing, poetry, painting and more besides. Poynton is a lively community located in North Cheshire, 20 minutes by train from the centre of Manchester and is simply bursting with creative talent. Poynton boasts six regular music venues, a theatre, two brass bands, stages at both the community centre and community hall, a Gilbert and Sullivan Society and much else. Poynton High School is a Performing Arts Academy.
The Festival brings together creativity from across Poynton and performing arts from around the region. Venues including pubs, schools, churches, cafes and restaurants plus a few surprises!
Wherever you are located, feel welcome to use Poynton Festival event as a showcase for your art or performance. With a huge and varied range of venues spread across seven days, there is going to be something for everyone in what promises to be a fantastic week of artistic celebration and excitement.
If you are a performer, artist or other contributor, interested in taking part in the Poynton Arts Festival, please click on the Take Part link to register your interest and view the list of available Host Venues. Please liaise directly with the venues about booking a slot for your act/performance.

Poynton Arts Festival Logo Competition
We are looking for a young artist (school age) to create the Festival logo! Entries should be bright, simple and memorable and should be emailed to email@example.com or handed to Reception at the Civic Hall. See the poster for more details.
