A new tour celebrating extraordinary women who have made an impact on Chester is putting on extra times to celebrate International Women's Day, 8 March.

 

Local gem and historic venue Combermere Abbey has announced it will once again be opening its grounds to the public with its popular annual Bluebell Walks, as well as its public and group tours of the house.

There is nothing more decadent and indulgent than afternoon tea and Chester is full of great places to enjoy this quintessentially British treat.

Chester celebrated the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit on Saturday, January 21 with record crowds to greet a parade of traditional music, lions and dragon dancing, non-combustible firecrackers and cultural characters.
