In Autumn

With the crisp nights beginning to draw in, there are few better evening pastimes than enjoying Cheshire’s finest produce from the comfort (and warmth) of your own home.

So, inspired by the vibrant leaves and glistening fireworks, and infused with the magical taste of Cheshire’s local produce, we bring you our Spiced Orange Fizz, an Autumnal tipple certain to please.

Learn how to mix your own Spiced Orange Fizz below and be sure to share photos of your indulgent creations on social media using #Cheshire and #EscapeTheEveryday.

Ingredients

Equipment

  • Champagne flute.
  • Stirrer.

Method

1. Angling the champagne flute slightly, gently pour in the sparkling wine and orange juice, allowing to completely combine.

2. Complement with your desired quantity of cinnamon alongside 5ml of honey, and be sure to mix well with your stirrer.

3. Next, add 15ml of grenadine, allowing the sparkling wine at the bottom to transform into a rich, crimson hue. The tonal effect will disappear if you mix at this stage, so we do not recommend doing so.

4. Sprinkle some sparkles into your beverage and be sure to decorate your flute with an orange wedge.

5. Now the only thing left to do is enjoy!

*Prefer mocktails? Not a problem, you can still enjoy our Spiced Orange Fizz. Simply omit the sparkling wine for your choice of soda or lemonade and ensure that your grenadine is alcohol-free (which is normally the case). What’s more, the lack of alcohol means you can indulge in our Spiced Orange Fizz to your heart’s content!
