Situated on the Wirral bank of the River Mersey, this park provides breath-taking views across the estuary. It also supports an abundance of wildlife and contains some of the finest mature trees to be found on the Wirral.
The original park opened in 1845 and attracted pleasure trippers for many years. The country park, established in 1970 incorporates some of the original features of the park amusements.
Enjoy nature trails, woodlands walks, orienteering courses, bird watching and family days out. Here you will find picnic facilities, tea gardens, cafe, coach parking toilets, bird hide and a dog free children's play area.
