Did you know September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month?
On 3rd September 2023, dog lovers and families are invited to join our 6th Annual Charity Trail Day: Pet Trailing and Family Fun Day at Blakemere Village, Northwich to raise money for Leukaemia Care.
We chose to support Leukaemia Care following the devastation diagnosis received by one of our trailing teams earlier this year. The charity have helped her family greatly and with learning that only 1% of the UKs public can name the top three symptoms of leukaemia (fact from Leukaemia Care) our Charity Trail Day will not only raise much needed funds for the charity to support other families impacted by Leukaemia but to also raise awareness to help others families in the future.
This year's 6th Annual Charity Trail Day event organised by Pettrailer UK, will be a day full of fun activities for all the family including hide and seek dog trails, tombola, a friendly sausage fling to see whose dog can catch at the greatest distance, blind auction, sausage bobbing and our 'dogbola'. Our pettrailing lost animal search dogs Mabel and Herbie are definitely looking forward to the sausage catching!
100% OF ALL PROCEEDS raised on the day will be DONATED to Leukaemia Care, YOUR Blood Cancer Charity. The UK's leading leukaemia charity, which has dedicated over 50 years to ensuring that everyone affected by blood cancer receives the best possible diagnosis, information, advice, treatment and support.
The aim of our event is to raise awareness and vital funds for Leukaemia Care and we would love to appeal to local businesses that want to support their community, to come forward to support our event. We are looking for dog and non-doggy related donations that can used for prizes on the day: gifts, vouchers, toys, treats, experiences etc. Businesses can also sponsor one of our individual activities in return for free advertising on the day!
Our Charity Trail Days bring the community together for a really fun day out for families of all ages and their dogs. Helping promote and raise vital funds for charities, they are our own way, as a small business, to give back to the communities we work closely with.
