AUGUSTO PIZZERIA, on Northgate Street, will be hosting a series of pizza master classes this year, sharing hints and tips on how to create delicious, authentic Augusto pizzas for both adults and kids alike with the first taking place on Sunday 29th January.
In the coming weeks, Augusto will be kicking off with two pizza master classes. The expert classes will give the people of Chester an insight into the unique dough Augusto use for their pizzas to help the students create a perfect, authentic Italian pizza time and time again. The pizza masterclass will be hosted on Sunday 29th January for adults and the kids' pizza master class on Sunday 5th February.
The adult pizza masterclass on Sunday 29th January will teach guests the secrets of Augusto's pizza dough, how to roll, stretch and flip their own pizzas and how to replicate at home. The start time is 4.30pm and will finish no later than 8.30pm. Tickets are £65 and include an apron, and all ingredients.
Led by Chef Karol and Chef Giuseppe, the class will be a mixture of practically making the pizzas and the process it takes to create it. The chefs will talk of the fermentation of the dough, the calculations that go into pizza bases, and what makes the Augusto recipe so special.
On Sunday 5th February, Augusto will be hosting a kids' pizza making class specifically for children aged 4 to 10 years old. Children will become their own chef, topping their pizza with their favourites, and watching it cook in the huge pizza oven.
The kids' masterclass costs £25 per child and led by Augusto's pizza chefs, Chef Karol and Chef Giuseppe. It includes a chef's hat, apron and rolling pin, as well as the pizza to be taken home to enjoy!
Owner of Augusto Pizzaeria, Fabrizio Gobbato comments, "we can't wait to share our knowledge with Chester and show them how we make our traditional pizzas. Our unique pizza doughs are what makes Augusto so great and should be enjoyed by everyone, at home or in our restaurant. We are so excited and hope these masterclasses are the first of many."
