At the heart of historic Chester, Hotel Indigo brings the quirky luxury of the internationally renowned brand to the city with public spaces and rooms inspired by the local neighbourhood. Hotel Indigo Chester combines the local character and charm with vibrant colours and textures to give the hotel a residential look and feel. Just as no two places are alike, no two Hotel Indigo properties are the same.
As you would expect from a boutique hotel, the bedrooms are contemporary with a traditional twist. They’ve taken inspiration from this beautiful historic neighbourhood with three unique room designs – Material Layers, highlighting the architecture of the City; The Eastgate Clock featuring nods to the famous clock and its designer John Douglas; and Racecourse rooms paying homage to the UK’s oldest racecourse. Stay in any one of their stunning 75 guest rooms, all with luxury Hypnos beds, spa-inspired bathrooms with rainfall showers, premium toiletries by Zenology, air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi and a variety of channels on your 46” flat screen TV with built-in Chromecast.
The Forge Restaurant (located at the hotel) has a passion for wild, sustainable British ingredients, and a love of simple cooking over fire and charcoal. The Forge has its kitchen front and centre in the middle of this lovely, and elegant space. Incredible dry aged beef and wild venison will be found in the maturation cabinets, awaiting their turn on the amazing forge grill, to be lovingly grilled and roasted over oak and beech logs. Hearty, delicious, great value, amazing service, and really memorable, are some of the goals they look for and they hope you share those feelings when you visit this very different restaurant.
