The Grosvenor Shopping Centre

With the majority of its fantastic high-street brands open 7 days a week and being situated in the heart of the historic city of Chester, the Grosvenor Shopping Centre makes for an extensive and convenient shopping experience for all!

Visitors to the Grosvenor Shopping Centre can enjoy stores such as BOSS, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Disney Store, and The Perfume Shop, and even get their vehicles cleaned courtesy of All American Car Wash, or enjoy a fresh bake from Muffin Break or Millie’s Cookies whilst they shop! Plus, the middle of the centre is well-known for hosting events, allowing for new experiences each time you visit.

Like Cheshire Oaks, the Grosvenor Shopping Centre provides a range of additional services. Namely, daily mobility hire, eye and hearing tests, and a multi-storey car park open 24/7 (tariffs apply). With locations in Little Budworth and Lower Stretton, what once started life in 1959 as a roadside vegetable stand is, today, one of the best farm shops in the North West!

Both of The Hollies’ locations feature an extensive array of superior alcohol, baked goods, gifts, delicatessen bites, and fresh meat and fish! Many of their products are locally sourced, but others come from top-class traders from across the world! With so much choice, you will undoubtedly leave The Hollies with a lighter purse/wallet, and countless quality goods to enjoy!

Alongside their fantastic retail opportunities, The Hollies boasts a range of luxurious log cabins with hot tubs and forest lodges, all suitable for up to 6 guests! Plus, the Little Budworth site also features ‘59’, an evening dining concept which showcases the best of The Hollies’ goods.

Whilst the reason for the two-tiered timber buildings which dominate Chester may be uncertain, what is undoubtedly true is that The Rows make for an excellent shopping experience. Featuring well over 50 businesses, ranging from quaint and quirky cafés, to breakout room venues, and from independent clothing retailers, to antiques traders, there is something new to discover for everyone on these black and white gems!

As with the Grosvenor Shopping Centre, The Rows are well-served by public transport, and local car parks are plentiful. Furthermore, despite being spread across two levels, The Rows are mostly accessible for wheelchairs users and prams.

A number of the Chester’s stakeholders are actively working to enhance The Rows too, meaning what is today an excellent shopping experience, may tomorrow be outstanding!

Warrington Market

Home to over 50 traders, with wares ranging from fresh foods to gifts, a visit to the multi-award-winning Warrington Market is certain to be a pleasure. As well as the retailing offers, visitors should definitely consider dining at the ‘Cookhouse at Warrington Market’, where a wide variety of hot and cold dishes can be purchased alongside a countless selection of beverages.

Warrington Market is open Monday to Saturday, 9am-5pm, with the ‘Cookhouse at Warrington Market’ also serving its delicious concoctions Monday to Saturday, but between 9am and 7pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am and 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Warrington Market is easily accessed via public transport, and those driving can park at the Time Square multi-storey for a time-based fee.

Blakemere Village

Situated on the outskirts of Northwich, Blakemere Village boasts stylish independent retailers alongside activities for all to enjoy! Whether you are looking for handcrafted goods, children’s games, jewellery, or luxurious bath and body products, Blakemere Village may have just the thing for you!

Cheshire Falconry and Cheshire Outdoors provide memorable experiences for their participants, including encounters with majestic Birds of Prey, and playing bubble football, respectively. The Playbarn is the perfect place to allow the youngest visitors to run wild in a safe environment, and The Village Restaurant and Bar provides a varied selection of quality food and drink.

Blakemere Village is open daily 10am until 5pm and boasts free entry and free parking.

Last but not least come our fantastic highstreets! With charming independent and chain offerings across all of our towns from Crewe to Knutsford, and Warrington to Macclesfield, they are perfect for all shopaholics and window shoppers! We have already mentioned Chester’s stunning Rows, but our highstreets also feature many other infrastructural gems, such as the black and white facades seen in Knutsford and Nantwich for example. We won’t spoil the others’ features; you’ll have to visit for yourself to discover them.
