From glittering light trails to spectacular shows why not make your Twixmas one to remember this year?
Make sure to see a pantomime
Twixmas could be the perfect time for a panto and there are many amazing shows to choose from this year. Aladdin comes to the Brindley starring Amanda Lovett from the hit TV show The Traitors as The Empress, alongside Brindley panto favourites.
Beauty and the Beast comes to Crewe! Starring The Chase's Jenny Ryan as the Enchantress with Lyceum panto favourites Malcolm Lord and Ste Johnston back by popular demand, Beauty and the Beast will have all of the ingredients for a truly memorable pantomime – hilarious slapstick, plenty of audience interaction and marvellous musical numbers. You can also catch Sleeping Beauty at Storyhouse, the Christmas show you’ve been dreaming of! Packed with pop favourites and overflowing with magical moments, this enchanting family-friendly show promises to send you home with a smile on your face and joy in your heart.

Wander through a spellbinding display of scenes from the cherished story of The Wizard of Oz this twixmas at Tatton Park Mansion, meticulously crafted within the mansion's staterooms. From the Yellow Brick Road to the dazzling Emerald City, each room sparkles with festive decorations, inviting guests of all ages into the heart of this timeless adventure.
Spend Twixmas at Gulliver’s World
The much-loved tale of Aladdin flies into Gulliver's World Warrington this festive season on selected dates from 28th December - 5th January. A magical journey filled with laughter, adventure, and heartwarming moments in the evening after a fantastic fun-filled family day out enjoying our festive rides and attractions.
An intergalactic Twixmas at Jodrell Bank
Head to Jodrell Bank to marvel at the intricacies of the night sky, travel to the edge of the universe in astounding detail at the Astronomy Photographer of the Year exhibition, free with admission.
It's time for 'Home Alone in the Dome'! For the first time, Jodrell Bank are turning their planetarium into into a festive cinema. With 15 showings to choose from, including Elf, Muppet Christmas Carol, Love Actually, Die Hard, The Holiday and many more, it's a family treat or a date night with a difference!
Indulge with Afternoon Tea
Spoil yourself and friends or family with festive afternoon teas offered at various locations each boasting a unique - yet tasty - experience. Indulge in festive Afternoon Tea at Mottram Hall until 31st December. The perfect way to spend an afternoon with a loved one or a group of friends. The Elves will be on the loose again at Tegg's Nose Country Park and Brereton Heath LNR until 29th December. Can you find them all and collect their names? An inexpensive and sneaky way to get the kids of their consoles and out into the fresh, Cheshire air! Plus parents can pop into The Nose Coffee Shop at Tegg's Nose for a quick brew!
Explore the Outdoors
Wrap up warm and head out to explore Cheshire’s countryside between Christmas and New Year, when everything feels a little quieter and calmer.
