Holmes Chapel is a lovely historic village which has made a name for itself with a famous former resident, Harry Styles. The station is very close to the village centre which has a good variety of shops, bars and cafes. Countryside walks around Holmes Chapel will offer views of the impressive Twemlow Viaduct with its 23 arches which also provides fantastic views from the train window between Holmes Chapel and Goostrey.
