This station is the best stop off to catch a show at the Garick Playhouse.
It also has a metro link into central Manchester but if you`re feeling energetic you could jump off here and be on the Bridgewater Canal in 10 minutes. It’s about a 9 mile walk along the tow path into Manchester Piccadilly but offers a fascinating alternative view of the city and there’s plenty of pubs and restaurants to stop off at to quench your thirst and appetite.
