Congleton Museum proudly presents Roman Week, that's right, ROMAN WEEK IS BACK DURING FEBRUARY HALF-TERM 2024!
Can the museum beat last years record of 109 visitors in a single day?
The museum is free admission and most activities during Roman Week are free.
With a different activity on each day, meet real Roman soldiers, decorate your own wooden sword or shield, explore what life was like in Roman Cheshire 2,000 years ago and so much more!
Tuesday 20th – Roman archaeology handling session (all day)
Wednesday 21st – Paint your own wooden sword or shield (£3 per craft, all day)
Thursday 22nd – Centurions ROME'in around the museum, mee t real Romans (all day)
Friday 23rd - Write your own name in Roman numerals and dress-up (all day)
Saturday 24th – All roads lead to Rome, interactive session about Roman life (all day)
Sunday 25th – Hidden Treasure, a talk on the Roman Hoards in Congleton Museum (2pm)
This event promises to be an unforgettable experience for all who attend. So, grab your toga and prepare for six days of discovery, creativity, and ancient wonders at Congleton Museum.
