Adrian West, author of The Secret World of Stargazing, will present The Night Sky Show, described as an epic journey across the cosmos from our ‘celestial backyard’.

Using a giant LED wall to create awe-inspiring visuals, this entertaining, fascinating, informative and theatrical experience is aimed at anyone who has ever looked up at the sky and wondered – and it will blast Parr Hall into space on Saturday, 9 November.

Recommended for families with children aged eight and above and adults of all ages, The Night Sky Show combines storytelling, comedy and Hollywood-style effects to make astronomy accessible for all.

As far from a dry lectern talk as you can possibly get, the aim is to take audiences on a journey around the constellations, stars, planets and more for a fun and memorable experience that isn’t heavy going on science.

The show is presented by Adrian West, an astronomer, author and presenter better known on social media as VirtualAstro where he has tens of thousands of followers and one of the largest space accounts on X (formerly Twitter).
