Christmas events at the Anderton Boat Lift will be a little different this year but we still hope our activities will bring Christmas cheer and help you make family memories.
Designed with social distancing in mind we're opening our grounds and coffee shop during weekends in December from 10.00 - 15.00.

Christmas message
As Santa is unable to meet families on the boat this year, he has recorded an extra special message for us. Step inside the visitor centre to watch the Christmas message. Children can write their own letter to Santa and drop it off in the special postbox.
Christmas Bingo
Explore the grounds with the Christmas bingo and see how many things you can spot. Can you get a line or even a full house? This is a free activity with no need to book and ideal for younger children.
Christmas Coffee Shop and Gift Shop
Enjoy festive hot drinks and food and in return, help us decorate our Christmas wish tree and write your Christmas wish on one of the tree decorations.
Searching for the perfect Christmas gift? Take a look around our gift shop for a selection of gift ideas for all the family including 25% off selected items.
