A FESTIVAL for people with disabilities is taking place in Ellesmere Port in July.
The music and arts learning disability festival is taking place at the Civic Hall from 12pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday, July 18.
'Live @ The Civic' is set to be an action-packed day, with live bands, dancing, DJs, singers, activities, quiet spaces, food and drink.
The afternoon session will run from 12pm to 5pm, with an hour break before the entertainment returns from 6pm to 8.30pm.
Like the Learning Disability Conference, which took place last year, this event is both for and by people with learning disabilities to make sure it’s exactly what they want.
People with learning disabilities been part of a working group to plan all aspects of the event, but they’ll also be performing throughout the day.
The event is free for everyone to attend, whether you have a learning disability, support someone with learning disability or would simply like to attend a festival packed with entertainment.
Booking is essential and tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Please note that the line-up is planned for the day, but this could change closer to the event.
