World class acoustic guitarists and songwriters, Rab Noakes and Brooks Williams play the Salt Work Sessions at the Cheshire’s Lion Salt Works Museum on 17 September
Ranked in the ‘Top 100 Acoustic Guitarists’* rootsy songwriter Brook Williams and legendary Scottish singer-song writer and guitarist Rab Noakes will be performing a lively acoustic rock session on Friday 17 September at the Salt Works Sessions in the award-winning setting of the atmospheric Lion Salt Works Museum, near Northwich, Cheshire. Both musicians are fuelled by a shared passion for acoustic roots rock, hook-laden songwriter pop and folky Americana. With long personal back catalogues, these exceptional musicians have collaborated with many famous names, including Lindisfarne, Barbara Dickson, Gerry Rafferty, Chris Difford, Dave Kelly and Paul Jones as well as Celtic Connections. Rab and Brooks met in 2018 and their Scotland- USA Trans- Atlantic collaboration has resulted in writing songs together as well as performing. The Salt Works Sessions event is in association with Northwich Folk Club as part of their Folk Fortnight programme and support will be from LIMITED EDITION, the club’s own multi-part harmony group.
