Frodsham is a pretty market town in Cheshire that dates from the 13th century. It is an ancient Anglo-Saxon settlement and is featured in the Doomsday Book. Today it’s a vibrant town with more than 200 small businesses.

Frodsham is the starting point for the popular Sandstone Trail, one of the finest long-distance walks in North West England. The Trail stretches for 34 miles / 55 kilometers to Georgian Whitchurch in rural north Shropshire and features stunning elevated views of Cheshire. Find out more and plan your walk here

Frodsham street market is held on the High Street every Thursday and is very popular amongst residents and visitors. The train station is only a few minutes' walk away.
