Helsby village is situated between Chester and Runcorn. The village is semi-rural with many dairy and arable farms, it also enjoys close proximity to a number of industrial plants around the Mersey estuary making it a great hub for commuters.
Take a stroll up Helsby Hill. Less than ½ a mile from the station, beautiful Helsby Hill boasts some incredible views over the Cheshire plains from the top which also encompass the Peak District, Liverpool, Wirral and the Welsh Hills.
Pack a picnic and spend a day exploring the rock faces, tunnel, woodland and meadows of the historic Helsby Quarry Local Nature Reserve. It’s a fantastic location that boasts beautiful scenery all year round.
