Join textile artist Maggie Pearson for an introduction to botanical printing and dyeing at The Forge. During this day workshop you'll gain knowledge and understanding of natural pigments, colour and botanics, all in the setting of our tranquil woodland.
You'll prepare your own natural dyes and inks, print a silk scarf with onion skins, and create a stack of beautiful papers with leaves and flowers which you'll forage from our woodland.
This socially distanced workshop will take place outside in our woodland, or underneath our covered wooden roundhouse if it rains.
£70 per participant (£55 for the workshop and £15 for materials). Please arrive 15 minutes before the session starts. Parking available. Vegan / vegetarian lunch provided.
Suitable for adults only.
