Half-term at The Whirligig: Puppetry

Work together to make, and bring to life, your very own Bunraku puppet!

Dizzy O'Dare are a global touring street arts company who use Mask, Puppetry, and Circus, to create their unique style of shows.

Working with Mike from Dizzy O'Dare you will be guided through the steps to create your own Bunraku puppet to take home, and once complete Mike will guide you through some puppetry basics to help breath life into your creation, take it on its first few steps, and create a range of characters with just a few sheets of newspaper a roll of masking tape and your imagination.
